Description
Astra 2.3 (Feb 2025) added a mode for using a more accurate weighting for the adjoint when using the Astra 3D projectors for a 2D geometry. This PR enables using that mode.
It should allow making tolerances for testing the adjoint smaller, and should also allow simplifying the code scaling the vertical dimension of the pixels.
This branch also includes the commits from PR #2134.
Example Usage
This is a work in progress result from the CIL PyTorch integration hackathon, and will need further testing and evaluation. It will also require astra-toolbox >= 2.3.
