Copy markdown to clipboard

Hello,
I wish there was a "copy markdown to clipboard" function on a text note. I often need to copy-paste parts of my notes to another Markdown editor or file (Gitlab or Github README.md files, instant messaging...). The only way I found so far is to export the note in markdown format to a file, open the file with an external text editor, copy the markdown-formatted text... it's a bit cumbersome.
Would love such a feature...
