[Bug] Ghost note remains when moving multiple notes into a newly created note (not yet a folder) #7288

Description

@MosheGroot

Description

STR

  • Create a parent directory, e.g. Main.
  • Inside Main, create several notes — 1, 2, 3, 4.
  • Create a new empty note, e.g. Collection (it’s not yet a folder).
    • Image
  • Move multiple notes (1–4) into Collection — using either drag & drop, or Ctrl+X
  • Observe the content of Main.

Actual result

Image Image

One of the notes remains visible in the original directory and linked with a copy.
If the notes are later moved back and forth, the ghost disappears — the view syncs correctly.

Expected result

Image

All moved notes should disappear from the original directory.
Target becomes a folder containing them.
No leftover links should remain.

Additional

Does not happen if the target note was already a folder.

After re-moving notes back and forth, the issue resolves itself visually.
