GitGetVer

This is small console utility which creates file revision.h and prints there current commit number as C/C++ define.

Building

Here is QtCreator project file, but program consist of one file, so you can create your own project file for any IDE or just build it with console.

Tested with:

• VS2013 to build it on Windows.
• G++ 4.9.2 to build it on Raspberry Pi.

Running

To run it GitGetVer executable (or workfolder) should be inside of repository folder. The PATH environment variable should contain path to git.exe to be able get data.

Arguments:

-d             enables build date output
-j             switches language to Java
-o <file>      output file path. default=revision.h
-p <package>   Java package name which will be print into class
