In Karaoke mode button commit all changes does not do anything.

As I said, it stop working from night to day. I was using it for months and today suddently stopped to work. I reinstalled the last version but nothing. It marks the first line: adds the time label in the subtitles box but after hitting botton to save it, nothing happens and for the second line does not create any time label. Somebody had similar problem? Thanks.

Are you using Aegisub on a Linux distro by any chance? Asking because I ran into something similar on Zorin OS Lite. One day certain KFX templates worked, the next they didn’t, with no changes on my end. Eventually I gave up and went back to Windows because it was the only way to keep things stable. If you’re on Linux, this might be the same kind of issue.

I also observed the commit button (green check mark next to the line content below the spectrum) not working on Ubuntu 24.04 in karaoke mode. I actually thought this was a permanent bug. However, on another setup of Ubuntu 24.04 the button has been working ever since I am using Aegisub there.

I think it would be extremely useful to at least record the Aegisub version and distro and how it was installed/compiled. If I get to recreate it, I will add the details I have. So far, I don't see a pattern that will help reproduce and analyse the bug.

If you care more about subbing, please just use Windows. Linux is not good for making apps like Aegisub to be stable. This comes from experience of a normal dude. 🙏🙏
