In this guide for people who haven't done much networking/multiplayer work in Unity, its extremely confusing how to start, with a broken logic cycle right in the beginning of your instructions. I will share an image below to explain.
Notice how it says a prerequisite is having a Unity project. Since I came here to learn the newer networking stuff, I don't have any project, so I see it says:
"
An existing Unity project. If you're new to Unity, you can refer to the get started section for guidance.
"
If I click on this it actually takes me to the next section. If I do install via the instructions on this page, then at the bottom it also tells me to go to that next section. It may just be bad wording or something, but I don't get why any "do this prerequisite first" type of step would actually point to skipping a section. I'll dig in more, but really if someone is new to unity or game development, these sort of things are enough to turn them away. I've always loved Unity because of the amazing documentation, so this is my contribution, I hope I was clear in what about this made me confused. If you really do want me to skip over the first whole section because I don't have a project, then explain that and explain why so I don't waste a bunch of brain power during the guide thinking I may have already skipped or done something wrong.
