Updating additionalField in plugin.ts doesn't show on screen unless i "restore configuration" via navigation settings #606

Good morning,
When i add/update additionalFields in config/plugin.ts, and i rebuild/develop the application it doesn't show up in the screen, until i press "restore configuration" at the bottom of the "Navigation" settings page.
This is kind off work-around, but i guess it should work when the file is updated manually as well. This is not ideal if there are other settings.
Please advise if I'm missing something else. We are using Strapi v5.23 and 3.2.4 of the plug-in.
