To help with "manual calibration", a calibration menu that displays the adc read value directly (0-4095) would allow a user to input a known voltage into CV1 or CV2, and see what the unit is reading. Doing this a few points would be enough to develop a linear calibration curve. Like wise, the menu could force an DAC outs to a set output value (0V and 5V) to help the users adjust the trim pots. The second iteration of this could be to allow the user to set the calibration factor and offset in this menu and repeat the above test until the voltage tracks. If the calibration and offset were stored in flash that would be great, otherwise the user can at least compile with the correct variables. |
