And there is stated :

Create a front page template:

    Go to the WordPress Site Editor.
    Select Templates, then click Add New Template.
    Choose Front Page Template to start building your site’s front page.

Add sections to your page:

    Use blocks to create the following sections:
        Header
        Hero image
        About section
        Display your work
        Contact area
        Footer

is it now the purpose to make my own designed page or re-create a existing page.
or just use the header block, the hero block and the group block to make some dummy content.

The purpose of this tutorial is to explain how to create a simple one-page site using the Front Page template. The author wanted to make the content as concise as possible and also theme-agnostic. That is the reason why the creation of the mentioned sections is not explained in detail. Those sections might be available depending on the theme you use...if not, you can practice and create them the way you like. Also, that explains why the part you are referring to is displayed under the Practice section of the tutorial - it is not explained in the video, and it is just for you to practice if you want.

Do you think it would be helpful to include a disclaimer below this section, clarifying that these parts need to be recreated manually or with theme patterns (when available)?
