Description

In Minecraft there's an obscure mechanic where if you switch from your elytra to your chestplate at least once every 19 ticks, the elytra won't lose any durability. Someone made a video on this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYIMsWBxIhI The hack I'm suggesting could be called "Elytra Conservation", and what it does it repeatedly switch the chestplate and elytra around with a couple of settings.

Setting 1.- This is a slider setting, that controls how long you hold the elytra for in either ticks or milliseconds (can't decide. For the sake of simplicity I'll go with ticks for the suggestion). This slider would go from 1 to 19. For example, if you set it to 18, the elytra would be held for 18 ticks and the chestplate for 2 every second.

Setting 2.- Speed randomization. It is similar to the one found in killaura, and randomizes the speed in which the elytra and chestplate are swapped around. It goes from 0 (off) to 5 ticks. Every tick you add to it, one tick is subtracted from the maximum posibble value of setting 1, and one tick is added to the minimum value of setting one. For example, if have setting 1 to 2 ticks, and setting 2 to 1 tick, it might hold the elytra for 1 tick this second, then 3 ticks next, then 2, then 1, etc. Alternatively, a second slider could be added to the same one in setting one, where you set the ticks you want. So you could set it to 1-3 ticks every time.

Setting 3.- "Swapping Spot" setting like "Automation" in BoneMeal aura. This setting controls where the elytra and chestplate are swapped around, whetever it is in the hotbar, the main hand, or the inventory.

I think this hack could benefit a lot of players. Builders while building high up and far away structures, miners while flying around in big caves, griefers while basehunting, PVPers during extended matches, and anarchy players for all of the above.
