In light of the current tensions between the United States and Europe, there is a growing need for information about the origin of products and their producers. This extension helps make informed choices by displaying the country of origin of the producer on the Albert Heijn website. This way, you can more easily choose Dutch or European producers and potentially reduce reliance on American brands.
- ✅ Automatically detects products on the Albert Heijn website.
- 🌍 Displays the country of origin of the product's producer.
- ⚙️ TODO: Settings page for personal preferences (e.g., prioritize Dutch products).

Download or clone this repository:

Open Google Chrome and go to:
chrome://extensions/. -
Enable Developer mode (top right).

Click Load unpacked and select the
distfolder.
The extension will now be added and is active on the Albert Heijn website.
This extension does not collect or store personal data. All product information is processed locally.
