Popup every time I trigger a link with this protocol

I get this pop up every time I click on the link.

I have tried the steps of the following page, but it didn't work for me:

Hi, what are the names/versions of OS and browser you're using? Have you tried it in a different browser?

The page you mentioned references lots of various methods. Some might not work for your OS/browser version though. Please try the ones, that will work.

I have Windows 10 Home 1909 and Chrome Version 89.0.4389.90 (Official Build) (64-bit). I have tried with Microsoft Edge and I got the same result.

Regarding the page I mentioned, I tried enabling this policy:
https://cloud.google.com/docs/chrome-enterprise/policies/?policy=ExternalProtocolDialogShowAlwaysOpenCheckbox

As for this solution you might need to restart the browser for this to take effect.

@jenvigo , do you still have this issue with the latest PhpStormProtocol version?

I have the same problem. It seems that all browsers with chromium does that - they don't show the checkbox "always open". In Firefox I do have this checkbox and when I check it it shows up no more.
I tried a lot of solutions but nothing worked.
