SmokeSense: Smoke Detection Website

Welcome to the SmokeSense website repository! This website serves as a platform for smoke detection using IoT data and machine learning techniques. It provides real-time monitoring, analysis, and alerts to help detect and prevent smoke incidents promptly.

This is a project done under the guidance of SmartInternz for the course Applied data science

  • Instant alerts and notifications (still in development): Receive immediate alerts via email, SMS, or push notifications when a smoke event is detected, enabling swift response and containment.
  • Historical data analysis: Dive into historical data, uncover trends, and gain valuable insights to inform smoke prevention strategies.
  • User management (still in development): Create an account to personalize your experience, manage notification preferences, and customize data visualization options.

Installation

  1. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/akash-r34/Smoke-detection-using-Machine-learning

  2. Install the required dependencies: cd Smoke-detection-using-Machine-learning npm install

  3. Configure the necessary settings:

  • Update the database credentials and API keys in the configuration file.
  • Customize the website appearance and settings as needed.
  1. Start the development server: npm start

  2. Access the website: Open your web browser and visit http://localhost:3000 to access the SmokeSense website.
