Panopticon Connector update

Hello everyone. of all, best wishes for the new year 2025.
My question related to the Panopticon Connector update.
On the website, I have Panopticon Connector v1.0.3. I see that the latest version is 1.0.7.
However, the Panopticon console or Joomla extension is not offering to update the Panopticon to the latest version.
Do I need to reconfigure something for the Panopticon update?

Install it manually, then make sure that System, Update, Update Sites has the update site for Akeeba Panopticon Connector and that it's pointing to https://akeeba-cdn.s3.amazonaws.com/updates/pkg_panopticon.xml.

Pre-release versions had an update site pointing to https://raw.githubusercontent.com/akeeba/panopticon-connector/updates/pkg_panopticon.xml, however none of you should have such an update site. Most likely you either have no update site (sometimes Joomla! drops the ball; reasons as yet unknown as it happens way too rarely for me to be able to troubleshoot in any meaningful way), or the update site got disabled (it happens when Joomla, for whatever reason, cannot fetch data from that URL).

Hi Akeeba Panopticon Connector is pointing to https://akeeba-cdn.s3.amazonaws.com/updates/pkg_panopticon.xml but didnt get update notification.
I contacted the hosting provider, and they do not see any firewall issues. Is there a way to test if my hosting or Amazon AWS firewall is blocking access?

There is obviously no firewall on Amazon's side. You should ask your host if downloading that file is possible on your server through PHP.
