Hi All, I am so close to making progress on my payload board, after kind of hitting a wall with the Blue Pill and waiting for the parts to install the Sparkfun Pro Micro 3.3 v board, I am now stuck at getting the driver installed on my Windows 10 PC. The driver does not install automatically as I had hoped it might. I follow all the instructions and download the driver from Sparkfun and install the signed driver and it says it installs successfully and then when I go to find it on the device manager under "other" it's not there. In the IDE I have loaded the Sparkfun board profile but under "port" there is no option, so I take all this as an indication that - despite what my computer tells me - the driver is not installed properly. I have tried plugging the board into all three USB ports and it does power up, so that's good. Anybody have an idea? I have a desktop Windows 10 machine that I will probably try it on, but I'd like to have it working on the laptop which intend to use to demonstrate my sim. Somebody please help if you can. I am admittedly not a "computer " person. Thanks |

OK...after way to much frustration I changed me USB cable and voila it worked. Problem solved. Sensors tested successfully. Troubleshooting 101 is a lesson I have had to learn over and over. Virginia |
