webman mod and multiman mod external ntfs drive with PS3ISO folder and showing covers

Hi,

I do have a ps3 with an external drive formated as ntfs

I put some of my original discs on it as iso format. I noticed when I use an iso in PS3ISO on the internal disk of the ps3 webman mod and multiman mod both show the cover of the game. This cover is read from the covers folder under the game > multiman folder.

But I got a few ISO's stored on a USB drive formatted in ntfs.
Both webman mod as multiman mod do read the external drive but the behave differently

webman mod seems to write files to /tmp/wmtmp and creates 2 files.

one file name.iso.SFO and name.iso.PNG

The thing is that it doesnot matter what the .PNG file contains its not being used by webman mod that will display the cover from the multiman covers directory from the files that are in .jpg format. I would expect that the name.iso,PNG is the ,jpg cover converted to ,PNG but thats not the case. So webman mod does show PS3 iso's on internal and external drive as cover,

Now to multiman mod. this uses the /tmp/mmtmp folder and create 5 files.
name,iso.ntfs
name,iso.PNG
name.iso.SFO
name.SFO
name.PNG

( name example could be Killzone [BCES01743] )

These .PNG files are wrong, they don't create a copy of the game cover but something multiman mod gets from the game.iso I think.
This is very annoying.

What I did to fix it is first disable multiman to scan iso to detect name. Option Detect Game Title in ISO under settings in mmCM
Secondly get the correct cover and convert in manually to .PNG
the replace the files name,iso.PNG and name.PNG with this .PNG I created. I used FTP to replace the files I did edit local. Then I shutdown the playstation restart. Now the covers show good on multiman mod. Look here https://ibb.co/5X3HG59M https://ibb.co/5X3HG59M

So how can this be fixed for people who have a dozen or more files. This can be done with the following workaround.

After you completed your iso collection in PS3ISO on the external ntfs drive check with webman mod if they all show correctly with cover. If one fails it could be that the multiman mod covers folder doesnot have a cover for it (check this)
When you see all games listed in webman mod exit to xmb. Then scan the files in /tmp/wmtemp only the .SFO files it did created.
It would help if all covers from multiman mod in the cover directory are in .PNG format maybe someone can make a .pkg for that,
Open multiman mod make sure the option to detect game Detect Game Title in ISO image is turned on!
It will populate the folder /tmp/mmtmp with all iso files names.
Open multiman mod make sure the option to detect game Detect Game Title in ISO image is turned off! not needed anymore,
Delete all files except the filename ending with .iso.ntfs in that folder and copy the .SFO from /tmp/wmtmp file as name.SFO and name.iso.SFO
Now copy the correct cover from multiman thats converted to .PNG for this game to name.iso.PNG and name.PNG

It would be great if webman mod could fix it with a script after you scanned the external disk with webman mod and multiman mod.

Other fix could be that multiman mod reads the correct cover jpg file like webman mod does.
