Zeitwerk autoload does not work on the actual implementation

After setting up CircleCI for the repository, it came to our attention that the fix brought by #364 did not work on our current test implementation.

@mikeastock maybe you could lend us a hand on the reason behind this while we investigate on our side? Thanks in advance!
