This AWS advisory ([https://alas.aws.amazon.com/cve/html/CVE-2021-41617.html]) shows that CVE-2021-41617 is patched in Amazon Linux 1 and 2. There is no mention of Amazon Linux 2023. I couldn't find anything that says this vulnerability has been addressed in AL 2023. This vulnerability affects OpenSSH 6.2 through 8.8. The current openssh version in AL2023 is "OpenSSH_8.7p1, OpenSSL 3.0.8 7 Feb 2023". |
