Grid collapse after filter.

When using grouping (treeview?) and filtering a field the grid always collapses although the grid icon is in (-) expanded state.

Steps:
1 - expand entire grid
2 - filter by gender type something ex. "m"
3 - remove filter
4 - grid has collapsed

Ah. Rows don't get unhidden (expanded) when they were filtered and then the filter is removed. That's interesting, and looks like a defect.

Hi, is there a workaround to this in the meantime? I would like for the rows to be "auto expanded" on the "filtering removed" event. I also noticed that it only keeps the groups hidden where there were no rows in the initial filter, i.e. if there was a result for that group it would keep the group expanded.

Expand the tree list, when the searchterm is not empty. If the term runs empty, just collapse again.

The only real problem is, that the callback on that filterChanged doenst pass you the filter, which did actually change. In this case test is undefined and that's why i had to hard code the path to my filter.

By using the bFilterStarted flag, you prevent expanding, when the user inputs more into the filter

I have a ui grid with allot of grouped data and whenever I filter a column and expand while the filter is still typed at the top the children wont show will it get fixed anytime soon ?

@glendoci I don't think I will be able to work on this issue any time soon, but pull requests are certainly accepted if you can fix it.
