Settings for home assistant when bold colors and black are desired

I may just be missing something obvious here, but is there a way to set home assistant lights to both respond with bright, vibrant colors AND turn off (or very dim) when watching a dark scene? I have tried to compensate for dark scenes by lowering "constant brightness," so that black doesnt result in my lamps remaining on, but that greatly reduces the light/color output when there is a scene with bright or vibrant colors. Are there settings somewhere that would essentially allow you to set min and max brightness for ambient lights in home assistant, rather than the constant brightness?

Set constantBrightness to 0, then the brightness will be calculated based on the luminance of the RGB color.

Ok. The response on the home assistant bulbs is also noticeably delayed, is there a setting I might look at to lessen the lag?

Side note, how are you using it with home assistant? I tried some integration but didn’t find it reliable.

Ohh, Nevermind. I thought you meant you were controlling HyperHDR with home assistant. I found an integration for that but it didn’t work. I ended up making a python script and IR receiver, but it would be nice to have a working HA integration to control HyperHDR.
