VS Code: Qterm Socket Check: qterm socket write timed out after 1s

• I have run q doctor in the affected terminal session
• I have run q restart and replicated the issue again

Expected behaviour

I expect the terminal autocompletions to work in both iTerm and VS Code.

Actual behaviour

Using zsh / the same .zshrc for both iTerm and VS Code's integrated terminal. In iTerm q doctor says ✔ Everything looks good! but in VS Code's integrated terminal I'm getting ✘ Qterm Socket Check: qterm socket write timed out after 1s
