Any plans to package this for NixOS?

Sorry for the late reply — life pulled a classic "side quest overload" on me. 😅

I love the concept of NixOS — I gave it a spin a while back, but I’ll admit I didn’t venture too far down the rabbit hole. Still, it’s such a cool ecosystem, and I’d definitely be up for supporting it better!

If you’re up for it, I’d totally welcome a PR with the flake input setup — sounds pretty straightforward the way you laid it out. I’m always happy to learn from folks who know their way around the Nix magic! 🧙‍♂️

I created a flake for installing Backslash on my machine - maybe it's a good starting point for this? You can try it out by downloading all the files in this gist, and putting them into their own directory, and then making the following changes to your machine's flake.nix:

1. Add backslash.url = "path:/path/to/the/directory"; to your inputs
2. Modify the main line of your outputs = inputs@{ nixpkgs, backslash, ...}: { to include the backslash argument
3. Amend your modules section as follows:

modules = [
  ./configuration.nix
  {
    environment.systemPackages = [
      backslash.packages.aarch64-linux.backslash
    ];
  }
];

I've only tried this on NixOS on a MacBook (aarch64-darwin), so no idea how well it works in other situations. I'm pretty new to Nix and Flakes, so there may well be a better way to do it. If I get a chance I will have more of a play with this, but if not then maybe this can at least be a useful starting point for someone.

Also notable that Backslash itself seems to have some issues on NixOS, mainly that no applications are shown - I believe we may need to add some additional directories to search for .desktop files in.
