The package @bam.tech/react-native-image-resizer itself does not bundle any .so binaries. That means the actual .so libraries are built according to the NDK and build configuration of your project.

At first, I assumed that this library might be the cause of the 16 KB memory page issue. To check, I upgraded its React Native version to 0.81 and built the example APK. In that build, the generated .so files actually supported 16 KB memory pages.

However, in my own project the problem persisted: libstatic-webp.so still did not support 16 KB. After further investigation, I discovered that the real cause was the additional Fresco dependency I had added for WebP image support:

That dependency version was outdated, and it was pulling in prebuilt .so libraries that were still compiled with 4 KB page support.

If you want to confirm, I recommend installing that fork and checking the generated .apk yourself.
