Component sometimes does not render correctly

I am enjoying the component so far. However, on occasion, instead of displaying text in the textbox as it should, it instead shows an empty textbox, and on top of the component it says "This is a label" (which I did not write). This issue can be resolved by simply re-running the streamlit script, but it would be better if this did not need to be done.
