WxObject Test Cases

iwxxm:MeteorologicalFeature and associated collective iwxxm:MeteorologicalFeatureCollective were first developed to handle the requirement to represent WAFS Significant Weather Forecast in XML/GML format. The first version of iwxxm:MeteorologicalFeature closely resembles om:OM_Observation but their similarity stopped there, as iwxxm:MeteorologicalFeature has to satisfy the following with priority:

1. Align better with the terms and practices in describing meteorological information
2. Smaller, flatter resulting instances but flexible enough to cover many types of meteorological information
3. The data model could be easily adapted in different systems to facilitate broader use of meteorological information in authentic representation

To facilitate further development, use cases are collected in this wiki page with suggested representation using iwxxm:MeteorologicalFeature and iwxxm:MeteorologicalFeatureCollection. One should be reminded that these suggestions are for the development of WxObject construct and they give no hints on the intention to implement IWXXM applications on these use cases.
