Delayed location detection

Curious if anyone else has had this problem. I've been using the integration successfully for a year to detect my R1S entering or exiting my home zone for garage door management (open and close). In the last few weeks when I arrive at home, the garage door does not open and I have to use the Rivian to open the garage door. About 3-5 minutes later, the automation then triggers and opens the garage door (that I've already closed). I've deleted the integration and reinstalled with not improvement in behavior. I've also rebooted my R1S without improvement in behavior and just had a firmware update without change. Appreciate any thoughts or ideas.

I've seen this happen when the websocket loses connection and it falls back to polling every n minutes. I. have a similar automation for arriving home and one of the things I added is to check if my R1T is also parked or moving and react accordingly. This way if it all of the sudden appears home, but is parked, it won't trigger the auto open.

I haven’t had the issue. My automation changes the alley light to purple when I enter the alley and it’s been pretty reliable. Updates way faster than our BMW i4.
