I would definitely add "A mapping between the" segment "business logic and its geometry definition in IFC is", if I understand your intent correctly.

I concur-the intent of the original paragraph seems to be guiding the reader to the partial concept templates that describe mapping of business logic to geometric definition for each segment type.

The mapping between the business logic and it's geometry definition is described in the Partial Template subsections of 4.2.2.1.
Adding the word partial clarifies where the guidance is located within the specification.
