Update as of Jun 17, 2025 9am CST: it turns out that Bknd is introducing an email driver for their Bknd SDK. We are awaiting 0.15.0, and here's the PR where the magic is happening. Game plan is to wait until it's merged and live. Then, implement it or have reference to documentation on it.

Is SMTP a requirement? Because this would exclude Cloudflare Workers to be a deployment target. Only HTTP-based email sending is supported with CF.

Which node library would you use for sending SMTP emails, nodemailer?
