Message Bus across Ethereum/Avalanche testnets: what to expect? #275

(I asked this question on Discord but I was asked to submit a ticket instead. I hope this is the right place to submit it.)
i'm trying to send a message from Goerli to the Avalanche testnet (Fuji). i deployed a MessageApp contract to both chains/networks, and i sent the transaction to Goerli, but i'm not sure what to expect next. where can i see the message in transit? should I be able to search for the goerli tx hash at celerscan.com? it's been a few days and such a search is still turning up nothing.
