feature request: have output field type same as input field type

Great plugin, especially the 'Line per vertex' feature.
A suggestion: All output fields are String type. It would make sense to make the output filed 'Group' the same type as the input 'Point group field', the the output fields 'Begin' and 'End' the same type as the input 'Point order field'.
Use case: I have a table that I want to join to the line segments AND to the segment starting points, in this scenario it would be more straightforward if the fields that are common to points and lines had the same data type.
