Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. The Code for IBM i log is empty, so I have to check elsewhere to figure out the issue:

If you're unable to connect via standard SSH, there isn't a lot we can debug here for you. I am going to convert this to a discussion. |

Could you try installing this build ? #2857 (comment) After you've installed it, try connecting again and check out the error notification: it must show more information. 
But maybe it's just a mater of starting the SSHD server on the LPAR - run this from a 5250 session: |

SSHD was restarted already, so I won't be able to test it unfortunately. That build is exactly what I was suggesting! |

Could you try installing this build ? #2857 (comment)
Download the build result and install the vsix contained in the archive.
After you've installed it, try connecting again and check out the error notification: it must show more information.
Also, get the content of the Code for IBM i output, as it will contain more details.
But maybe it's just a mater of starting the SSHD server on the LPAR - run this from a 5250 session:
STRTCPSVR *SSHD
