add Log Filter concept?

Not sure about this yet, but I could implement filters as separate modules, kind of like logstash: https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/_how_to_write_a_logstash_filter_plugin.html

The "filter by loglevel" code which is currently in the Logger module could be moved to a filter module.
