Grant permission screen appears every time I open a game

I am asked to grant permission to the chess app each time I click a game either directly from Drive or from an email. Once I grant access to the chess app, shouldn't all games built with it also remember those settings?

I checked with some other drive apps and it looks like there is a way to go around this. Also, it would be ideal if we could send a direct link to the game instead. I added the direct link in the comments but the invitation still goes to drive.

Do you have cookies on? Maybe it is not remembering that you have already granted permission, and so it does it again.
