tree mis-aligned

I print a simple tree but found that some branch is misaligned. i tried both ascii and unicode as per the following snapshots

I am on Windows 11 and the CMD window does not support unicode, which explains the output.

Thank you for your anomaly report. Just to be clear, what would be your expected output? Should the line always be straight, with a more intelligent adaptation of the parent node to an only child? Probably there is some rounding issue here, I will check it.
