Error : Impossible to insert and parse an image

Dear,

If any sentence is ending with a dot like

To delete an item, click the icon ![logo](img/image813.png).

I need to put the dot at the next like to make the image available in the output, but visually it is weird to have a text like

With everything in 3 lines, one for the text + one for the image + one for the dot.

Is there any way to fix it ?

As you can see the dot at the end of the line is not will interpreted so the image could not be display correctly
