FAISS support in Haystack 2.0?

FAISS is currently supported in Haystack 1.x. Will it be supported in Haystack 2.0?

Haystack 2.0 will have FAISS support but it's still not in the plans, i.e.: we have not yet committed to a timeline.

@davidsbatista Why did deepset made the choice of not supporting FAISS immediately in Haystack 2.0? Do you consider FAISS not to be a good choice compared to the supported Document Stores ? Or is it because FAISS is not much used?

FAISS was not used as much as other DocumentStores. Nevertheless we have a tracking issue:
