Simple but fun exercise! I wasn't aware of the potential of MCP servers until I started this challenge, many ideas have come up!!

For those taking the challenge, be creative when writing your prompt, since the LLM was hallucinating easily, finding typos that don't exist in the README.md.

Hi, I'm partecipating to this challenge, and I'm loving it and learning a lot. Thanks to create it!

Anyway, I'm having some problems.
I created the Agent with the Github MCP server Tools, but when I run it I face this error TypeError: cannot pickle '_asyncio.Future' object. I also tried to run the snippet of code present here (MCP Tool with Agent Component) and I'm facing the same error.

Environment:

Operating System: macOS on Apple Silicon (MacBook Air M1)
Python versions tested: 3.11.2, 3.12.3
haystack-ai version: 2.13

I checked to see if there were any open issues on this topic, but couldn't find any.
Is this a problem with the Agent component? Has anyone else encountered this error?

Great to hear that you're enjoying the challenge and thanks for raising this issue, I can reproduce the error. I'll investigate this further and keep you updated! 🤗

In the meantime, you can downgrade to Haystack 2.12.2 (pip install -U haystack-ai==2.12.2) and keep developing your agent!
