Could not connect to Central search. Analysis failed.

I am getting the error "Could not connect to Central search. Analysis failed."

Looking at this earlier issue, seems like this happens when Central search is down. Looking at the status page, it is currently down: https://status.maven.org/.

I have the same issue and if you look at the legacy search - it is not very stable:

The search results currently in a timeout 504
https://search.maven.org/solrsearch/select?q=1:2de8b4d3368aa7b97b0eeae9ee34c7c0d43c6dc6&wt=xml
But the same search on sonatype is working:
https://central.sonatype.com/solrsearch/select?q=1:2de8b4d3368aa7b97b0eeae9ee34c7c0d43c6dc6&wt=xml
Wouldn't it be better to switch to the sonatype host?
