Hi, I enjoy working with Aspire and have a few deployment-related questions.

Maybe. By the next version we'll have a more complete model for definining deployment pipelines. Out of the box using bicep on disk and deploying them isn't the model we want but should be possible to do with what we are building. Generally the idea of checking in the assets is a fine one but they should be treated as readonly since (which azd doesn't do today).
Those specific issues look like azure container apps specific. Unclear if there's a deployment problem with azd. I'll see if I can get someone from ACA to help.
We updated the docs to explain what the differences are between publish and deploy https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/aspire/deployment/overview. We'll be updating this again in the next version because there are some significant changes underway. |

Thank you. The questions aren't very concrete but you still managed to improve my understanding of things anyway. 😄
I read this before but failed to grasp the idea. I might have also been fooled by the cli help and expected some artifacts for the deploy command too. |
