[Bug] Sync and backup does not work

Describe the bug

Sync and backup does not work on OnePlus pad 2 android version 15. The QR code doesn't appear and after second try the app crashes.

How to Reproduce

Go to setting>sync and backup
First try asks you for the pin code
Second time it crashes and you need to close the app

Expected behavior

The QR code appears and you can scan it with the other device and sync

Environment

- DDG App Version: 5.228.2
- Device: OnePlus pad 2
- OS: Android 15

Hello, thanks for reaching. Can you give us bit more information about the issue? Another question, do you have sync enabled on the device that is crashing or are you trying to enable sync?

Hi,
Once I am trying to enable sync, for the first time nothing happens (the QR code is not showing, ...) and if I press syncing again it crashes. Let me know if I need to provide more information.

Sorry for the late response. I'm still trying to pin point the exactly steps where it fails for you.

I assume you are accessing via "Sync and Back Up This Device" which will enable (set up) Sync on your device and create a backup. can you confirm this the option you select first? and can you confirm you can successfully setup and enable sync on your device?

Can you clarify which option are you selecting here?

For simplicity, feel free to record a video, that way I can clearly see in which point it fails. Thanks.
