Default Installation on M1 MacOS Sequoia results in error on nix run .#build

All steps were ran sequentially as per the guide (the no secrets route). Running the nix run .#build command on MacOS Sequoia results in the following error:

This could potentially be an issue in the hosts/darwin/default.nix file as issue #144 is similar, however the file has since been updated.

Hmm, this is hard for me to test as I don't have a fresh Macbook handy. It is strange you're on a Macbook and it's evaluating options within nixos/common.nix. It really should only be touching darwin/* and shared/* directories.

Can you provide the entire trace here? Are you trying to build NixOS in a VM on macOS or use nix-darwin, etc. on macOS?

I can also confirm that this is happening on a M4 MacOS Sequoia MacBook. Fresh install of MacOS. I also try running "nix run .#build -- --show-trace", but I get the same response as what I got here.

@jglamp That's a different error, something I haven't figured out how to do is keep the Emacs Overlay hash up to date in the templates. For now, replace the string 0rvpskk1z996arcj48ch4g08lvid6r856m0x5376y7lfjxlsawga with 1brfmm1g6cdmpkwbkcm6541am1jk39ndyzmjq6ngglfc57l8k206 in the modules/shared/default.nix file.
