Description

A few months ago we introduced an advanced setting to allow users to switch between rendering the analyzer graph and session view components as overlay of the alerts table or under new tabs in our expandable flyout.

We're now ready to fully move over the the flyout render, so this PR removes the access to that advanced setting.

I've looked at the docs (not in depth though, so could have missed something) and it looks like all our screenshots have already been updated to use the flyout render. It seems to me that the only thing to remove would be the advanced setting entry here https://www.elastic.co/docs/solutions/security/get-started/configure-advanced-settings#visualizations-in-flyout 🤞

Resources

At first we had a feature flag, which we then converted to an advanced setting in this PR for ESS, and in that one for Serverless.

Which documentation set does this change impact?

Elastic On-Prem and Cloud (all)

Feature differences

Users no longer have the option to render the analyzer graph and session view components as overlay of the alerts table. The default flyout mode is now the only option.

What release is this request related to?

Talked with @natasha-moore-elastic and agreed to use the applies to stack label to make the Serverless updates. For 9.1, we might use the discontinued or unavailable in 9.1 applies to tags.

@nastasha-solomon will take care of Serverless updates. @natasha-moore-elastic will likely handle 9.1 updates.
