See how we do this in the reply tracker. We also have a command-K dialog you can tap into.

Shortcuts:
R - reply
E - archive
Arrow keys up/down

Any others you want to add

@elie222 let me know if you would any other changes, actually i was not able to find the implementation you are talking about ( reply tracker ). So, i did it my way.
