Turn UUID off by default for macOS #212
Description
It's not apparent from the documentation or the make system that make uuid-no should be set for macOS. We should turn it off by default in the darwin (macOS) machine files and mention the error message and suggest turning it off in the quickstart guide. This has been brought up several times, most recently in #167.
