Issue Description

I've encountered an issue regarding op-deployer compilation. I've run
just build
on op-deployer folder, but the
./bin/op-deployer --version
always returns
op-deployer version v0.0.0-dev
for whichever branch.
Can I get some insights on how to compile a op-deployer of a specific version?

I think you could just switch git branch to the branch that you want to build the op-deployer binary?

git checkout op-deployer/v0.2.4

I've switched multiple git branches, but all op-deploy binaries return the same version. Now I've figureded out the reason that compilation takes in git commit and version as parameters in order to return the correct version of op-deployer.
