Improve logging to indicate added, updated, and deleted documents

Currently the logs just list out every file compiled/extracted. It would be more useful to display details about which of those files were actually changed, using words or color-coding to indicate which of the files were added, updated, or deleted, and leaving out any documents that weren't modified. This would be very useful to see only the changes, rather than just a big list of all files.
