Scrolling completely breaks with "Scroll Speed" plugin

If "Continuous Mode" is toggled off (not plugin disabled), both this Continuous Mode and Scroll Speed plugins appear to work marvelously.

But when it is turned on, I lose ability to scroll resulting "scrollable document" (but not completely – to see document "scrolling" downwards, we can enlarge "Mouse Scroll Speed" setting of OTHER plugin to values close to maximum).
It happens regardless of settings like "Disable scroll sidebar items into view" and "Disable scroll active note into view" of THIS plugin (which is sad, because a single setting from conflicting plugin almost fixes the entire issue, but more on that below).

Also, scrollbar stops being responsive until it's moved to top/bottom position. And the only way to move it I found is to click on empty space above/below scrollbar.

One way to deal with these issues is to disable "Enable Animations" setting of conflicting plugin: scrollbar starts to work as intended, and scroll itself is working (but not completely – it can be noticed that scroll speed is WAY slower compared to "regular" notes, when "Continuous Mode" is toggled off).

On the other hand, by disabling animations of conflicting Scroll Speed plugin, user completely looses this feature for "regular" documents.
Of course it can always be switched on/off before/after switching to "Continuous Mode", but it sounds really counterproductive.

Thanks, for the next release of the plugin I have changed the scroll setting to a simple enable/disable for all scroll-into-view behavior managed by the plugin. Please let me know if this fixes your issue.

Unfortunately, it seems that issue is still not fixed.

1. Also I noticed a "non-documented" auto-scroll behaviour which might interfere with plugin in question:

• when "Continuos Mode" is toggled OFF, scrolling up and down (with arrow keys) instantly snaps view to actual cursor position,
• but when "Continuos Mode" is toggled ON:
  • it takes some time to reach actual cursor position, as if the view is scrolled automatically
  • when note's bottom is reached, pressing PageDown key makes cursor jump to note's top (view scrolls from bottom to top)
  • when note's top is reached, pressing PageUp key just reveals note's title
    (but cursor does not jump to it, like when plugin is turned OFF)

I could not upload video demonstration here, so I dropped it on "Google Drive".

2. Another issue is related to moving though multiple opened files using arrow keys:

• first time I tried to switch to next note (scroll down while pressing PageDown key), it just cancelled view movement to cursor
  (so I just used mouse wheel at some point in the video below)
• then, when I started to move back and forth between opened files, auto-scrolling was noticeable, too
• also, it seems that moving from one note to the next one skips an line (if it is empty)

Demonstration is also provided here.

Additional notes

All tests above were performed in an empty project (with only your plugin installed) and with "Disable all scroll-into-view..." setting toggled ON.

To sum this all up, it seems that provided setting does not actually disable all scrolling behvaiour introduced by this plugin.

Thank you for the detailed feedback. In my development and testing, arrow navigation has proven to be one of the trickiest things to get right. Some of the problems seem to stem from how Obsidian loads or renders leaves that are not visible, as some of the problems you describe disappear if all the leaves in the tab group are first scrolled into view manually. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to determine how to emulate the effect of this programmatically; I will keep looking. The slow or jerky scrolling that you documented in the first video is likely due to the css "scroll-behavior:smooth;" that is applied to continuous-mode tab-groups. This behavior made sense to me initially because I thought instant scrolling was jarring, especially when moving between notes, but I will likely make it an option in the settings. I will need to explore the PageUp/PageDown behavior you show in the second video (I'm on a MBP, so I don't have or use those keys). Am I correct in understanding that you would expect pressing PageDown (for example) to scroll the page down, moving the cursor as well, until the cursor reaches the end of the note, and that pressing PageDown again at that point would move the cursor to the beginning of the next note? Just to be clear, however, "arrow key navigation" ≠ page up/down keys. The plugin currently only handles navigation with the arrow up/down/left/right keys specifically, and does not detect page up/down key events at all, but it shouldn't be difficult to add them (famous last words). Ow... Now I think I was just delusional while describing my experience of navigating with JUST arrow keys.

I looked at my keyboard now and discovered that multiple buttons are called "PgUp" and "PgDn" – but when I decided to test them in "Hotkeys" options menu, they (of course) behaved differently: ones were arrows, and others were the actual PageUp and PageDown keys.
So I was just confused with what keys I was actually using at the time of recording – in short, only arrow keys were used.

At least to me, actual PageUp and PageDown keys seem not so useful, as they are just a faster way to scroll the page without using mouse scroll wheel.
I also don't know how they could be useful for this particular plugin, since I don't actually use them at all, too.

Funnily enough, I now see how the PageUp/Down keys could be useful—I have already integrated them into the plugin. I still have more work to do on the actual arrow navigation and a few other issues, so I don't know exactly when I'll be able to post an update. Hopefully not too long, though.
