Addition of AuditFields (CreatedDate/By & ModifiedDate/By)

Thanks for putting together this fantastic tool. Would you also enable the audit fields like CreatedDate/By, ModifiedDate/By. This will be helpful to provide additional comphrensive information.

I am not sure to understand the request here, the fields like CreatedDate/By and ModifiedDate/By are currently included in the generated data dictionary.

Could you provide more details on what you need (with examples if possible) ?

Hello Gil,

Thanks for your response. So essentially what I meant is, the current excel spreadsheet which gets generated doesn't contain the Audit fields like CreatedDate, CreatedBy, LastModifiedDate, LastModified for the object structure being retrieved from Salesforce

May you share the full generated file ?
If they are not here, be sure to run the tool with a salesforce admin user.

Thank you for your response and for taking the time to look at my request. I think I know the confusion here.

What I meant was, since you are anyway getting all the information from the API call. Can we have the CreatedDate, CreatedBy, LastModifiedDate, LastModified values populated as columns similar to the way you are capturing API name, Type, Values etc . It will help the end-users sort based on certain criteria,

Pls. do let me know if it is a feasible use case to consider.

Got it! Good idea
You want the fields related to the field, not to the objects.

I'm not sure that I have the audit fields for fields in the information that I am retrieving from the API. I'll check asap if it's possible and will update you!
