Process

Step 1 - Instructions work

If the tutorial is an .sdf file, please open the file and read the comments at the top of the file.

Step 2 - Images (if there are any) match the result

If the tutorial is an .sdf file, post a screenshot of the simulation run.

Step 3 - Comment status

Include a special comment at the end of your post to indicate pass/fail. Use either [status: passed] or [status: failed].

Platform: Ubuntu Noble 24.04 via Docker container (ghcr.io/gazebosim/gz-jetty)

Potential Issues

• The wget command captures the gz_maritime_ws.zip from the gz-sim8 tutorial assets (wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gazebosim/gz-sim/gz-sim8/tutorials/files/surface_vehicles/gz_maritime_ws.zip -O ~/gz_maritime_ws.zip)
• The CMakeLists.txt calls find_package(gz-sim8), as well as numbered versions for other Gazebo packages that seem to be unavailable
• Downloading and unzipping the gz_maritime_ws.zip from the gz-sim10 tutorial path (wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gazebosim/gz-sim/gz-sim10/tutorials/files/surface_vehicles/gz_maritime_ws.zip -O ~/gz_maritime_ws.zip) seemed to have similar issues in its CMakeLists.txt file
