Hi,

have some trouble to discover and import a HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3302 printer with glpi-agent 1.12-1 (on Rocky Linux 8.10)

I made a snmp walk

Hi @b-keller

first of all, your printer is reporting just .0.0 as sysObjectID and this is definitively wrong. This may be the sign you have a bugged firmware. Maybe this is still fixed by the manufacturer and you just require to upgrade it to fix your problem. Can you check that before we try to handle that case in glpi-agent ?

can you test with last glpi-agent v1.14 ?
I made an update which should permit to support this printer even with such sysObjectID.

after your first post, I updated the firmware, but the result was the same.
Now I updated agent to 1.14 and run discovery and inventory : the printer is well discovered, imported and inventoried
Name, model, serial number, network port and page counter are correct
but the device and firmware manufacturer is set to Siemens

sorry for the delay, but this should be fix in just pushed 7b6fd4f commit.

This fix will be integrated in next nightly build and in next release. As a temporary work-around, you can probably remove the Siemens module at the following path (assuming you don't need it): /usr/share/glpi-agent/lib/GLPI/Agent/SNMP/MibSupport/Siemens.pm
